Buy the Child/Teen Largo Swim Shorts sewing pattern from Petits D'om. Largo is suitable for all water sports - a good basic for summer and perfect for swimming in year round. It has a fitted cut and two lengths: boxer (short) or jammer (above the knee). The waist is adjusted with elastic and can be finished with a cord or not. Elastic is also inserted into the hems for a perfect finish. For more comfort, Largo is lined on the front only. This pattern is fast and easy to sew.

Suggested fabrics: Lycra. Choose a fabric with at least 10% elastane, combined with polyamide or nylon, and 4-way stretch. You will also need swimsuit lining.
Fabric requirements:
Lycra: 140 cm wide fabric: Boxer version, 35 - 50 cm // Jammer version, 45 - 80 cm.
Swimsuit lining (bi-stretch): 25 - 40 cm x 40 cm wide.
Sizing: 2 – 16 years. Please check the size chart.
Notions: Jersey (ballpoint) needle; 100% polyester thread; woolly nylon thread (optional); 6 - 9 mm wide rubber elastic, 1.3 - 2 m; 0.5 - 1 cm wide flat cord, 0.9 - 1.2 m (optional).
